Zen Yoga is home to the widest range of yoga and pilates classes suitable for all levels, and taught by the most qualified instructors.

We also host many Workshops and Teacher Training courses by renowned local and international teachers for those student wishing to take their practice to the next level!

Zen Yoga provides its students with a diverse range of Yoga classes to choose from including Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Jivamukti, Yin, Yoga Nidra and more.

We also offer a host of Pilates classes, including Pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Tower – all catered to students’ preferences.

ZenYoga goes a step further in offering regular Prenatal & Postnatal classes, Kid’s Yoga and Mummy/Baby classes. Zen Yoga also dedicates a significant portion of our schedule to ladies-only classes.

Our Instructors

Dina has always been drawn to a healthy lifestyle. Having had a passion for sports since her early years, she went from being a ballet dancer to exploring different sports activities until she discovered the importance of body/mind connection through. Dina believes that a strong core is the key to a healthy body. Dina received her 200 hr level training from Sivananda Ashram, and has since studied with Max Strom, Nico Luce and recently with Clara Roberts-Oss.
Amelia is an experienced yogi with a love of Vinyasa flow & the journey of evolving yoga focusing on calm, power & precision. She qualified in London & then completed her Level 2 in Goa. She embraces the teachings of Vinyasa flow, Hatha & prenatal yoga.
Andrea knew at the first yoga class she attended in a small studio in Hungary that she needs to take up practicing yoga regularly. The calmness and peacefulness yoga practice has given her, led her to complete the Sivananda yoga teacher's training in Vietnam in 2010. Leaving the corporate world behind, she started to teach then. Andrea has also qualified in prenatal yoga in 2011. She likes to emphasize the importance of proper breathing and loves how good yoga can make people feel. She is also a certified holistic health coach working in pre and postnatal nutrition, weight management and women's health.
Diana gravitates most naturally to the more subtle aspects of the culture of Yoga. She kindled this flame further by studying and learning the methodologies thereby completing her teacher training, RYT-200 hrs in Hatha Yoga, Level 2 in Vinyasa Flow. She was endowed with Yoga Siromani to teach from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, India. She also specializes in teaching prenatal & postnatal yoga.
Jatta is a certified 500hr Yoga Alliance Astanga Vinyasa teacher from Tattvaa Yoga Shala in Rishikesh with Yogi Kamal Singh. Her classes are energetic and inspiring with the traditional approach coupled with adjustments to align students and assisting them to achieve deeper opening of the body and at the same time she encourages students to confront themselves on the mat through the physical challenge delving into the mind and spirit.
Laura Farrier
Laura’s journey into Yoga started 12 years ago and typically focused on Asanas (the physical aspect of the practice). Seeking out Yoga in each country that she lived in, she began to develop an awareness and appreciation of the inner peace that it ultimately brings into ones life. This included an in depth study of the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga system as well as learning safe adjustment techniques for students with all levels of practice.
Sonja – Rajinder Kaur trained as a Yoga Instructor (KRI Level 1) with the International School of Kundalini Yoga (I-Sky) in 2012. Her instruction is based on the teachings of Yogi Bhajan to develop greater awareness and connection with life. She is passionate about the countless benefits of Kundalini Yoga for body, mind and spirit, and in particular, the ability to bring strength and flexibility as well as health and balance to a busy life.
Danica is the 500 hours RYT (Level 2) Yoga Alliance teacher and has studied with a number of senior teachers at Yoga Arts school in Ubud, Bali and other renowned yoga schools and lineages. Today, you can find her teaching creative vinyasa and hatha flow classes at Zen Yoga, Dubai. She continuously studies to deepen her knowledge in yoga asana, mediation, pranayama, Ayurveda and yoga philosophy.
Cheryl first found yoga at 16 & quickly developed a passion for the practice. She is an E-RYT 500+ Yoga Alliance registered teacher, having trained under the expert eye of the Yoga Arts team, and also holds over 85 hours of pre-natal yoga teaching qualifications. Cheryl has been instructing Vinyasa and Hatha Flow at Zen since March 2008 and loves to add an element of fun to her classes, encouraging students to laugh & enjoy their yoga practice.
Joanna completed Pilates Mat & Reformer Instructor Training through Balanced Body University, followed by Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates Instructor training through The Center for Women’s Fitness. She was excited to become certified Instructor in The Booty Barre method as it complements Pilates wonderfully.
Laura Weston
Laura Weston Jabali is a certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 and a certified Pilates teacher through the Pilates Method Alliance. She is also a Balanced Body Pilates Faculty Teacher Trainer. Laura's passion for movement is naturally expressed with a creative feeling of mind, body and spirit awareness. She feels blessed to share her knowledge and to grow with her students in strength, grace and love. Laura has been teaching with Zenyoga since 2007.
Melissa is an experienced E-RYT 500 Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor. After completing her training at Brahmani Centre in Goa 2009, she has been teaching vinyasa flow and ashtanga yoga both in India and the UAE. Melissa’s philosophy is to share the gift of yoga from a place of authenticity and integrity. Filled with technique, alignment, and a systematic approach to building strength and balance, her classes offer an array of intelligent sequences covering a wide variety of themes.
Sofia completed her 200 hour Multi-style Teacher Training in Dharamshala, India with Trimurti Yoga. Born in Nairobi, she grew up in Africa, Germany, Qatar and is currently based in Dubai. Sofia inspires her students to develop a strong connection and understanding of their own body. Her classes allow you to challenge yourself, leaving you with a stronger, more balanced and energized physical and mental Self.
Eva's training include 500h advanced vinyasa and yoga therapy TT, 200h asthanga TT, 100 advanced vinyasa TT, prenatal and postnatal TT, and yin yoga training (all YA certified). She has attended a number of workshops with various senior yoga teachers as well as movement workshops with non-yoga teachers. She has continued her education by studying yoga anatomy and thai yoga massage.
Liz is an energetic Vinyasa & Yin Yoga Teacher (eRYT500) who takes her classes beyond the image of what Yoga is ‘supposed’ to be, and encourages her students to define Yoga in their own way. She hosts Retreats all over the world, adventuring to Bali, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and to Mexico. Liz’s teaching is dynamic, bringing techniques from all Yoga styles into each class, empowering her students to take Yoga beyond the mat and discover their true potential.
Penny is Yoga Arts 200hrs trained and has taken Teacher Training Intensives with Max Strom and in Yin Yoga with Corina Benner (a student of Paul Grilley), as well as being a Kids Yoga instructor training with Yoga Bananas (UK). Penny teaches both Yin Yoga and Children’s Yoga at ZenYoga. She believes that Yoga is a gift that can encourage us on a path to discover a sense of inner peace in a very busy and fast moving world.
Simone has been practicing yoga for 20 years, exploring all styles and schools and has been blessed to learn from some of the most incredible and respected teachers in the world. Her passion and enthusiasm for the benefits and fundamental transformation of this practice is intrinsic – yoga offers ever individual who steps into this sacred space something remarkable, something insightful, something inspiring, even just for a moment.
For seven years, Zeid sought out different types of yoga in search of the true philosophy behind the ancient practice. It was in an ashram in India that taught a traditional form of yoga called ‘Tantra’ that quenched Zeid’s search. He spent four months living and breathing the system where he also received his 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certificate.
Breathwork whilst running was the start and then her asana and pranayama practice really deepened during four years in India. Claire appreciates the Yin and Yang of Yoga so you will feel an undercurrent of gentle yet nurturing strength in her teaching style: her classes & workshops will help you find the balance between sincere effort, grace and surrender, especially in her Yin and Pre-Natal sessions. Claire is E-RYT 200, registered RPYT (pre-natal) and Usui Tibetan Reiki Master.

Our Team

April is the youngest in a brood of three and the only girl, “Daddy’s Little Girl”. She grew up and studied in her native land, the Philippines. April has an extremely happy disposition and is a bubbly, outgoing person, which are some of the main factors in making her a widely loved receptionist and an asset to ZenYoga. She takes great pride in her job at ZenYoga and it shows in all she does.
Helen hails from the Philippines and has been with ZenYoga since she arrived in Dubai over 3 years ago. She loves her job and feels that the multicultural environment she is in everyday has helped her grow as a person. Helen has been practising Yoga since she joined the company and believes it helps her gain a balance both physically and mentally. She is mother to has 2 beautiful children, Svetlana Hadrienne and Ysaye Justine. Helen has grown so much in her role a ZenYoga and handles the busiest studio as if it was the quietest. Mildred is from the Philippines and is mom to 2 wonderful children, Matthew Ray and Kareen Cassandra. She has been with ZenYoga for 3 years now and enjoys her job tremendously. At Zenyoga, Mildred has discovered that people from all walks of life can come together with one aim or goal: to be fit, balanced and healthy in both mind and body. Sigrid comes from a beautiful city in the Philippines, called Bacolod, meaning the the City of Smiles. The eldest of 4 siblings, Sigrid grew up to be responsible and hardworking. She loves and enjoys working with people. Sigrid is new to Dubai and is the latest addition to the ZenYoga Receptionist Team. In her search for balance in her new life, she has found her place with Zen Yoga, which she is very excited about. This is a new journey that she is ready to undertake with her newly found family here in Dubai, her ZenYoga family.
