Yousra’s teaching style focuses on introducing the practices of guided meditation and mindfulness along with the Yin asana practice. Her classes focus on balancing the action with inaction by feeling more and doing less. For her, Yoga is an ongoing journey of self discovery and the restoration of the fullest potential of herself.
Charity
Charity was introduced to yoga in 1996 shortly after her arrival in New York City. It quickly became the one constant in her life in the hectic world of fashion. She credits her love of the practice to two early teachers, Amy Ippoliti and Paul Dallaghan. By a chance reconnection with Paul more than ten years later, she was inspired to delve deeper into her practice and complete her 200 hour teacher training with him at Centered Yoga Thailand. Charity continues her education with Centered Yoga in Pranayama, Asana, and Philosophy and will forever be grateful to Paul for his guidance as well as her husband and son, as without them the journey wouldn’t have been possible. Charity’s Asana classes emphasize the connection with the breath in addition to proper alignment and acknowledgement of one’s own limitation.
